Automated Controllers

Automation is the best way to insure water is always safe, clean, and fresh smelling. Energistx offers Chemtrol(R) chemical controllers for aquatic facilities including commercial and institutional pools, hotels, spas, water parks and cooling towers that continually monitor the pH balance, sanitizer levels, and water temperature digitally, virtually eliminating the need for chemical shocking and superchlorinating. We can customize an integrated system, including pumps, filters and sanitation for your specific application.

Chemtrol Automation Benefits:

Digitally Monitor Multiple Sytems on your Computer Network
Chemical Automation Controllers keep a constant watch over the chemistry of the pool or spa via in-line water sampling and adds chemicals as needed. To adjust pH, the device adds muriatic acid or base, or to adjust the sanitizer level, it turns on the saltwater system or chemical pump, eliminating the human error factor and keeping your pool perfectly balanced for the safety of your clients and the peace of mind of your company. Our commercial unit offers an alerting device that immediately calls your Maintenance personnel if there’s a problem with the water and allow management to monitor multiple pools moment to moment from any computer.

Prevents Formation of Foul-Smelling Chloramines
Perfect water balance optimization prevents the formation of volatile chloramines is
prevented by the controlled rate of oxidation of all organic nitrogen compounds that enter the pool (the basis of the Chemtrol technology). Noxious Chlorine odor is eliminated, and subsequently reduced the maintenance required to keep surrounding stainless fixtures clean and shiny.

Eliminated Dangerous Fluctuations in Chemical Levels

Another benefis of a chemical automation system is that your water chemistry is stable and constant and therefore does not have the huge fluctuations that occur when a lot of bathers enter a spa. This seems to happen particularly with children, where water chemistry can get out of balance in a very short period of time. The constant monitoring by a chemical automation system helps alleviate these dramatic fluctuations.

Chemical Automation Quickly Pays for Itself!

Also, particularly in public pools, where you look to minimize your costs, you will save money on your sanitizer and your acid; you are not using as much because you aren’t combating the huge fluctuations. As a rule of thumb, a chemical automation system can pay for itself within approximately a two year period of time. The larger the body of water, and the more the body of water is used, the shorter the payback period.

Much Longer Equipment Life
Another benefit of having stable water chemistry is that it minimizes or may even eliminate damage to the equipment itself. Particularly in the case of heaters, large fluctuations in sanitizer level or pH will act upon and corrode the heat exchanger itself. By keeping the levels steady, scale, erosion and corrosion are minimized; thereby extending the life of the equipment. The constant monitoring and adjusting accomplished by a chemical automation system takes care of a big part of the water chemistry battle.
